Le Gland
Established in April 2010 as a "choir for young choristers in Nara Prefecture". The members are in their teens to thirties and work energetically. Its main activities are participating in choral festivals and various competitions, and holding concerts. In July 2019, they will receive the Silver Prize in the Mixed Chorus Division of the 2nd Tokyo International Chorus Competition. In September 2021, they will receive the Gold Prize in the Mixed Chorus Division and Contemporary Music Division of the 3rd Tokyo International Chorus Competition, and participated in the Grand Prix competition in the Mixed chorus Division. In July 2022, they will receive the Gold Prize in the Mixed Chorus Division of the 4th Tokyo International Chorus Competition.In February 2020, when they celebrate their 10th anniversary, they held a 10th anniversary concert at Nara Centennial Hall, where they will perform "Sights I -I am a Cat-," a work first commissioned by Naoto Aizawa, to great acclaim. Le Gland" means "acorn" in French.
