The Chamber Choir was established in 1991 on the initiative of prof. Iwona Wiśniewska-Salamon and has been running continuously ever since.

The collective is made up of the university’s students and graduates whose work involve a constant cooperation with musicians and sensitive people who aim to pursue artistic challenges and explore the world.

The choir's repertoire includes sacred, folk and gospel music as well as vocal and instrumental pieces. Throughout the years the ensemble has won over 100 choral competitions in Poland as well as in Europe and other parts of the world. We have performed in Sweden, Denmark, the Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, the Netherlands, Canada, Turkey, Russia, Estonia, Great Britain and in Lithuania, Latvia, Bornholm, Slovakia, Iceland, Ukraine, the Faroe Islands, Gozo, Malta and the USA.

Our achievements have been recorded on 12 CDs.

Iwona Wiśniewska - Salamon


prof. Ph.D. Iwona Wiśniewska - Salamon - conductor. In 1991, she created the Chamber Choir at the Agricultural University (since 2009, West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin), which she leads to this day. The ensemble has won numerous prizes in Polish and foreign choral competitions and festivals. In 2004, she obtained the title of Doctor, and in 2011, habilitated doctor of musical art, at the Academy of Music. I.J. Paderewski in Poznań. In the years 2012-2013, artistic director of the National Festival of Choirs and Vocal Ensembles of the U3A "Tak Sounds of New Warpno", 0d 2013 of the International Szczecin Festival of Passion Music and the International Musical Struggle for Seniors and the International Festival of Chamber Choirs and Vocal Ensembles "Sedina Cantat". The originator of the International Choral Festival in Eišiški, Lithuania (7th edition), during which the music of Polish artists is promoted.
On July 27, 2021, she obtained the title of full professor in the discipline of musical arts.
