Veus – Cor Infantil Amics de la Unió was founded in 1996 as a part of the Music School within the Coral Society Amics de la Unió de Granollers. Under the direction of Josep Vila Jover since its inception, this children's choir is renowned for the quality, eclecticism, and uniqueness of its productions.

Veus has participated in numerous international festivals and has received awards in various competitions. Notable recent accolades include the third prize at the 53rd Tolosa Choral Contest (2022), the Josep Anselm Clavé Award for Best Recording for their album "Els Colors del Mar" (2018), the Guido de Arezzo recognition (2017), the first prize at the 47th Tolosa Choral Contest (2015), and the Silver Rose Bowl at the UER Let the Peoples Sing! competition (2013).

Veus has performed at the Gran Teatre del Liceu, Palau de la Musica Catalana, Auditori de Barcelona alongside conductors such as Jordi Savall and Gustavo Dudamel.

On the international stage, Veus has been invited to prestigious festivals in Japan, China, Switzerland, the United States, and France. In 2022, they notably participated in Via Aeterna and became part of the regular programming at the Philharmonie de Luxembourg.

Josep Vila Jover

Josep is the artistic director of Societat Coral Amics de la Unió with over 650 students and ten choirs. He conducts "Veus” and the "Cor de Cambra de Granollers"

They have performed at renowned venues like the Palau de la Música Catalana, L'Auditori de Barcelona, and the Gran Teatre del Liceu, collaborating with directors such as J.Savall and G.Dudamel.

His influence extends worldwide, with tours in Europe, China, the US, Taiwan, and Japan. He leads international workshops, including "Europa Cantat" and "Philharmonie de Luxembourg" workshops.

In addition, he has conducted notable orchestras like the Orquestra del Gran Teatre del Liceu.
