カンサォン・ノーヴァ
CancaoNova
Japan

Established in July 2016, our group, CancaoNova, meaning "New Song" in Portuguese, embodies a distinctive vision of overcoming barriers such as vocal parts, geographic location, age, and race through the use of IT technology. Operating across three regions in Japan, we strive to create a borderless and inclusive foundation for sustainable choral activities. Our repertoire showcases a diverse array of pieces with unique ensemble arrangements and musical styles. We embrace an all-participatory approach to practice planning and ensemble activities, emphasizing collaboration rather than relying on a single music director. To facilitate our creative endeavors, we've formed multiple teams for system development, concert management, content creation, and musical analysis, allowing us to be self-reliant in all aspects. Organization management is tailored to individual strengths. Our main appearances include the JCA National Choral Competition, Takarazuka International Chamber Chorus Contest, Tokyo International Choir Competition, and our own event, CancaoNova Chorus Next.
