Each student is a unique note! In the summer of 2017, conductor Chia-yu Lin established a choir at Pinghe Elementary School in Changhua City, Taiwan, featuring lower-grade students with varied musical abilities. Through personalized guidance and parental support, the choir developed over seven years from novices to skilled performers. From 2020 to 2024, they competed in various competitions across Taiwan, achieving notable success, including recognition in the teacher-student folk song competition. The choir has expanded its repertoire to include songs in Mandarin, Taiwanese, English, and indigenous melodies, reflecting a deep love for their country and celebrating cross-cultural understanding. Their pure bel canto style uplifts and inspires all who listen.
