Chengdu Philharmonic Children's Choir is one of China’s most influential children’s choirs and a double champion at the World Choir Games. In the 2024 World Choir Rankings, it placed 5th in the "Children’s and Youth Choirs" category and 4th in the "Folklore" category. The choir published "Advanced Training Guide for Children’s Choirs" in 2020, which is distributed nationwide. It has won numerous awards at prestigious music competitions, including: Two World championships (C1 Young Children’s Choirs and C27 Folklore with Accompaniment) at the 12th World Choir Games. Gold 1st Prizes in the Youth and Children’s categories at the 16th China Choral Festival. Top awards at the 16th China International Chorus Festival (1st in Youth Choirs and 2nd in Children’s Choirs). The choir has established sister choir relationships with Spain's “Cor Vivald” and “Cor Infantil Amics de la Uni” and France's Bouches-du-Rhône Children’s Choir. Actively involved in public welfare and youth mental health initiatives, the choir brings Chinese voices to the world, spreading beauty, love, and hope.

ZHU XI

Maestro Zhu Xi, a renowned artistic director and conductor of Chengdu Philharmonic Choir and its affiliated Children’s Choir. Also Teaching as associate professor of Sichuan Conservatory of Music. Current member and as executive vice chairman of Chengdu Choral Association; Maestro Zhu has won more than 50 gold medals in important international and domestic music competitions, including the 15th Hollywood Music Media Awards, two champions of the 12th World Choir Games at South Korea (Championship), and the prestigious "Cultural Award" from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China.
