Jianguo Elementary School, Toufen City, Miaoli County Established in 1991, Jianguo Elementary School is located in Miaoli County, Taiwan, and is dedicated to providing high-quality education, particularly excelling in music education and choral training. With the ongoing support of successive principals, faculty, and parents, the school’s choir has thrived, receiving numerous accolades both domestically and internationally. Jianguo’s choir has become a vital platform for promoting Mandarin, Hakka, Minnan, and Southeast Asian music, showcasing a rich blend of artistic education and cultural exchange. Major International Performances and Awards •2002–2022: Participated in musical exchange performances in Osaka, Tokyo, and Kyushu, Japan, as well as in Malaysia, China, Austria, and Italy. •2023: Won the Gold Award in the Children's Choir category and the Silver Award in the Folk Music category at the 12th World Choir Games (WCG). •2003: Collaborated with the Miaoli County Children’s Choir and Toufen Women’s Choir, performing in Japan and China. •2000–2023: Guided Jianguo Elementary Choir to compete in the National Student Music Competition, National Student Folk Song Competition, National Hakka Language School Singing Competition, Zhongshan Cup Golden Voice Awards, and National Hakka Choir Competition, achieving consecutive top national honors.
