Nanshanli Senior Choir was established in January 2017, with an average member age of 62. The members uphold the philosophy of "health, optimism, learning, and independence" in retirement and remain committed to the choir's mission of developing into a women's choir for those aged 50 and above, maintaining high vocal and artistic standards. The group emphasizes professional management and training, prioritizes the artistry and stylistic expression of its repertoire, and actively participates in community-based elderly cultural initiatives and social welfare activities. It strives to set a positive example of "self-respect, self-love, and independence" for the growing silver-haired population in society.

Che Yiqing has apprenticed with Mr. Meng Dapeng, one of greatest choir conductor in China, for more than twenty years. And graduated from Shaoguang Choral Conducting Academy founded by renowned educator Professor Wu Lingfen. Since 2015, she has become a counseling teacher and conductor assistant of China Broadcasting Children's Choir. Moreover, Che Yiqing has been to several countries to participate in international choral festivals and choral exchange activities. She also been selected as a singer of the Asia Pacific Youth Choir. And other chorus she tutored has also achieved good results in various competitions.
