Originaly started as a school extracurricular since the school year of 1984/1985, this choir has become a place to develop talents of the students. To improve the quality more seriously, the choir was officially founded in 1988 and started to join competitions, festivals, concerts, and also music ministries. Since then, St. Louis High School Choir is improving over time to become more professional choir. 2 Years Achievements : 2023 - Champion of Traditional/Ethnic Music Category, Taipei International Choral Festival. - Champion of Contemporary Music Category, Taipei International Choral Festival. - 3rd GRANDPRIX Champion of Taipei International Choral Festival 2023. - Champion of Mixed Youth Category, ITN Youth Choral Festival. - Champion of Equal Youth Category, ITN Youth Choral Festival. - Best Conductor ITN Youth Choral Festival. 2024 - Champion of Mixed Youth Category, FESPA 2024 Universitas Surabaya - Champion of Mixed Youth Category, Surabaya World Choral Festival 2024.

ONNY PRIHANTONO

Onny Prihantono is currently the music director and conductor of both the St.Louis High School Choir and Petra Christian University Choir Surabaya. He has helped St.Louis High School Choir win three Gold Awards Category Championships in Mixed Youth, Equal Youth and Folklore at the Singapore International Choral Festival (SICF) 2017 and was awarded Grand Prix Champion of SICF in 2017. He has led the St.Louis High School Choir in becoming category champions and Grand Prix champions 29 times in 10 years, consecutively from 2014 to 2024.

MARIA WIDIYANINGRUM

Maria Widiyaningrum (Maya) was born in Denpasar on May 4,1977. She is an active conductor for some school and church choirs in Surabaya. She learned her basic vocal in Elementary school and obtained a lot of experiences in choir while she was studying in St. Louis I Senior High School under the guidance of Mr. F. X. Arie Suprapto. Maya was involved in more choir festivals since she joined the students choir of Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology with the late Mr. Theiss Watopa as the mentor. At that time, she also developed her skills as choir trainer and conductor.
