The UCSI Chamber Choir, a harmonious collaboration of students hailing from the Classical and Contemporary Departments of the Institute of Music at UCSI University in the cosmopolitan city of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, is a musical force that transcends genres and epochs. Unified by a passion for choral excellence, the choir delves into a diverse range of choral literature spanning from the Renaissance to the Contemporary period. The UCSI Chamber Choir has embraced a global perspective, leaving an indelible mark on international stages. The choir's journey has taken them to captivating destinations, including Vietnam, China, South Korea, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Thailand, Croatia, and the Czech Republic. In each of these countries, the choir not only performed but also engaged in spirited competition, showcasing their musical prowess and spreading the joy of choral music across borders. In 2024, the UCSI Chamber Choir participated in the 17th China International Choral Festival (CICF), where they were awarded the Level A Award and recognized as the Champion Choir under the Youth Students Choir category, further cementing their reputation for choral excellence on the global stage.

Ian Lim Kean Seng established the UCSI Chorale and founded the Dithyrambic Singers and both choirs under his direction have competed in numerous International Choir Competitions throughout Asia and Europe. Under his direction, both choirs have collaborated with the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra in various projects namely Beethoven 9th Symphony, Camina Burana, Mozart Requiem amongst others.
