Taipei Youth Choir

Taipei Youth Choir (TYC) is a mixed choir made up of a group of teenagers who are fond of Choral music. In Oct 2013, TYC took part in 2013 Busan Choral Festival & Competition, and participated in the Classical Mixed Competition, awarded the Gold Prize. In Nov 2016, TYC took part in 48th Tolosa Choral Contest, awarded 5th place. In Aug 2017, TYC was invited by 2017 Taipei Summer Universiade as performing group of Opening Ceremony & Closing Ceremony.

Conductor

Ching-Ying Hung

Ching-Ying Hung, a native of Taiwan. holds a bachelor’s degree in music education and voice from National Taipei University of Education. Hung earned a master’s degree in choral conducting from Fu-Jen Catholic University. Hung earned the 37th Distinguished Alumni Award in 2012, and the 3rd New Taipei City Art Education Outstanding Contribution Award in 2015. She serves as the music director of Taipei Male Choir Culture and Arts Foundation, conductor of Taipei Youth Choir, Taipei Childrens Choir and Taipei Arts Female Choir.
