We offer a wide variety of categories to help you find
the perfect fit for your choir!
The Tokyo International Choir Competition offers the following categories.
A single choir may apply to compete in up to three categories.
Each category, with the exception of B and H, has a set piece.
The set piece must be a new work by a leading Japanese composer,
or a work selected from the prize-winning works
of the Japan International Choral Composition Competition.
All choirs that enter the competition are first required
to undergo a sound recording screening as a qualifying round
(Notification of acceptance is scheduled for January.)
The choirs that pass the preliminary screening
will be selected to participate in the finals
and will perform on the stage of Dai-ichi Seimei Hall in July next year.
Please refer to the regulations for entry.
