We're a member of The World Choral Championship!

　
The Tokyo International Choral Competition is a member of the “World Choral Championship (WCC)” consisted of four international choral competitions.
The WCC will be a Grand-prix competition to decide the best among the winning choirs of each competition, which will be held on the next year of winning.
International choral competitions joining the WCC are as below:
- International Krakow Choir Festival “Cracovia Cantans” (Krakow, Poland)
- Tokyo International Choral Competition (Tokyo, Japan)
- Taipei International Choral Competition (Taipei, Taiwan)
- Rimini International Choral Competition (Rimini, Italy)

The 1st WCC was held in Tokyo in 2019, and the Danish "Akademisk Kor Århus" became the first champion.

The choir that becomes the grand-prix for each competition held in 2024 will be participating in the WCC 2025. The third WCC will be held in June 2025 in Krakow. The WCC will be held at each competition venue, i.e. Rimini (The 2nd / 2024), Krakow (The 3rd / 2025), and Taipei (The 4th / 2026).
